Cutoff Times & How They Work
# Layers Cutoff Time Shipment for 1 Working Day Turn
2 Noon PST Next Day by 5:00 pm
3 – 4 10:00 AM PST Next Day by 5:00 pm
5 – 6 9:00 AM PST Next Day by 5:00 pm
7 – 8 8:00 AM PST Next Day by 5:00 pm
9 – 10 9:00 AM PST 1 Day unavailable — 2 Day by 5:00 PM
11 – 12 8:00 AM PST 1 Day unavailable — 2 Day by 5:00 PM
Note:
1.Best delivery time for 9–12 layers is 2 working days.
2.All required files, PO/Order Form, and payment must be received and accepted by the cutoff time for the clock to start that day. This applies to 2-day orders as well — the clock does not start until everything is received and accepted. (30-day terms must be pre-approved.)
3.Simply add one day to your selected turn time to determine your ship date.
Exception: Local deliveries within 20 minutes of our facility are free of charge and will be made by 5:00 PM that same day — beyond that radius, standard shipping timelines apply.
4.Quotes for 13 layers or more need to be reviewed before a turn time can be committed. Review will be done same day submitted, or by next AM if the quote request is submitted late in the day.
5.Contact Eagle for more details.
4 Working day calculations exclude weekends and holidays.
5 If weekend or holiday turnaround is required, please contact us at sales@eticircuits.com.
6 All orders receive a complimentary basic Engineering Review to help identify any issues with your submitted files or drawings. While Eagle Tech will make every effort to detect potential problems, the customer retains full responsibility for the integrity of all files and drawings provided. If you have any specific concerns, please note them in the files uploaded with your quote request or reach out to us directly via email.
7 On Hold — File & Design Issues: If a job is placed on hold due to issues or questions with the files, drawings, Gerber’s, etc., this may impact the delivery date. We will always make every effort to recover lost time, however you should expect a delay proportional to the length of the hold. You will be notified of any issues via email. If the issue is not resolved same day, before close of business, additional delay is possible as we lose the ability to process the job on the night shift.
8 All communications must be in writing. Verbal communication about an issue is fine, but the customer must also communicate in writing via email or have received an email confirmation back from Eagle.
9 If you have a job with an odd number of layers (3, 5, 7, etc. — not a good practice due to potential effects on board warpage), we suggest, in most cases where the design allows, repeating one of the inner layers, typically your ground or power plane. This creates a balanced construction and a higher quality board at no extra cost. Note: This may not be applicable to Controlled Impedance designs.
10 Single or Panelized: Unless otherwise requested, for jobs shipped in an array, frames will be added on two sides (approx. .300″ wide). Fiducials for component alignment will be automatically placed on the frames for SMT assembly. When placing your order, please let us know whether you’d like the boards shipped as singles or panelized with a breakaway frame on two sides. Pricing is the same for either option.
11 Silkscreen will be used “as is”, or Eagle Tech may clip lettering on pads at its option. Please verify that lettering is not on circuit/soldered pads before sending Gerber data.
12 Date Code & UL Logo: Eagle Tech will automatically add a date code and UL logo, unless notified otherwise in writing by the customer.
13 Eagle Tech has the option to remove non-functional pads on inner layers.
14 Hole size tolerances: Hole size tolerances will be +/- .003″ if not noted on a drawing.
15 Electrical Test: There are never charges for Electrical Test — automatically performed on all boards with 100% flying probe against the net list you provide. Exception: in some cases, for very simple designs with wide or very few traces, at Eagle Tech’s determination.
16 Eagle Tech boards are manufactured to IPC-6012 Class 2 and inspected to IPC-A-600 Class 2, unless otherwise specified. Class 3 is available upon request.
17 It is assumed that boards may be produced and shipped with .0008″ minimum copper plating in holes.
18 Finished outer layer copper thickness is a minimum of 1 oz. unless otherwise noted in customer documentation.
19 Eagle Tech can decline any order at its discretion at any time. If so, all payments will be refunded in full if the order has not been started. Refer to our Terms & Conditions for orders that have been started and canceled.
20 Unless otherwise requested, Eagle Tech will start with 1/2 oz. copper. Your finished board will be 1 oz. minimum copper thickness on the outer layers, unless otherwise detailed in your drawing(s).
21 X-outs are allowed on Arrays (sub-panels), but order quantity will still be shipped in full.
22 Single (1-up) boards are shipped with no frames unless frames are requested in writing. If frames are requested, the array design will be provided using Eagle Tech’s standard array design at its discretion for best fit on a panel. Our standard, depending on board shape, is V-Score or Rout & Retain with Mouse Bites.
23 ITAR: Eagle Tech is not ITAR registered; however, most bare boards do not have to be run in an ITAR-approved facility, with customer approval, as no detail about the design or product is typically shown or can be deduced from Gerber data or bare board fabrication drawings. If you would like Eagle Tech to build your ITAR bare board and have any questions, please let us know.
24 With Eagle Tech, there are “No” NRE’s or Tooling charges.
25 Our standard process is to electrically test all inner layers and the final completed bare board.
