Order Terms & Process
1
All orders are placed under Eagle Tech Inc. Terms & Conditions contained in this website.
2
Eagle’s goal and focus is to provide the highest quality functional PCB’s — please let us know how we do.
3
Cutoff times and how they work:
Note:
1.Best delivery time for 9–12 layers is 2 working days.
2.All required Files and PO/Order Form must be received and payment made, unless 30-day terms approved, by cutoff time to start clock for that day — otherwise counting starts when everything is received and accepted. If after cutoff time, start will be counted from next Working Day.
3.Add one day to above “Shipment for 1 Working Day Turn” to determine ship day for the turn time you have selected.
4.Contact Eagle for more details.
4
Do Not count weekends or holidays in calculation for Working Day Turn. Add one day to calculate for each successive working day.
5
If weekend or holiday turn-time is required, contact Eagle at: sales@eticircuits.com
6
All jobs will receive a basic “Engineering Review” to detect issues with files or drawings supplied. Eagle will do its best to find issues, but the customer retains responsibility for integrity of files and drawings supplied. If you have any special concerns about your files/drawings please let us know in uploaded files sent with the quote request or via email.
7
Issues with design/layout/files/drawings may affect delivery time. If a job is put “On Hold”, Eagle will inform you via email. You can calculate the delay in shipment by the time the job was on hold. We will work to make up any lost time, but generally count on the delay affecting the ship date. A delay late in the day that remains open may have a greater effect on delivery, as this could cause work stoppage over the night shift or weekend.
8
All communications must be in writing. Verbal communication about an issue is fine, but the customer must also communicate in writing via email or have received an email confirmation back from Eagle.
9
If you have a job with an odd number of layers (3, 5, 7 layers, etc. – not a good practice due to potential effect on board warpage) we suggest, in most cases the design will allow, that you repeat one of the inner layers, typically your ground or power layer. This creates a balanced construction and a higher quality board at no extra cost. This may “not” be applicable to Controlled Impedance designs.
10
Unless otherwise requested, for jobs shipped in an Array, frames will be added on two sides (approx..300″ wide). Fiducials for component alignment will be automatically placed on the frames for SMT assembly.
11
Silkscreen will be used “as is”, or Eagle may clip lettering on pads at its option. Please verify lettering is not on circuit/soldered pads before sending Gerber data.
12
Eagle will automatically add a date code and UL Logo, unless notified otherwise in writing by the customer.
13
Eagle has the option to remove non-functional pads on inner layers.
14
Hole size tolerances will be +/- .003″ if not noted on a drawing.
15
There are “Never” charges for Electrical Test — automatically performed on all boards with 100% flying probe against the net list you provide. Exception: in some cases for very simple designs with wide or very few traces at Eagle’s determination.
16
Eagle boards are manufactured to IPC-6012 Class 2 and inspected to IPC-A-600 Class 2, unless otherwise specified. Class 3 is available on request.
17
It is assumed that boards may be produced and shipped with .0008″ minimum copper plating in holes.
18
Finished outer layer copper thickness is a minimum of 1 oz. unless otherwise noted in customer documentation.
19
Eagle can decline any order at its discretion at any time. If so, all payments will be refunded in full if the order has not been started. Refer to our Terms & Conditions related to orders started and canceled.
20
Unless otherwise requested, Eagle will start with 1/2 oz. copper. Your finished board will be 1 oz. minimum copper thickness on the outer layers unless otherwise detailed in your drawing/s.
21
X-outs are allowed on Arrays (sub-panels), but order quantity will still be shipped in full.
22
Single (1-up) boards are shipped with “No Frames” unless frames are requested “In Writing”. If Frames are requested: the Array design will be provided using Eagle Tech’s standard Array Design at its discretion for best fit on a panel. Our standard, depending on board shape, is V-Score or Rout & Retain with Mouse Bites.
23
Eagle Tech is not ITAR registered, but most bare boards “do not” have to be run in an ITAR-approved facility, with customer approval, due to the fact that no detail about the design or product is typically shown or can be deduced using Gerber data or PC Bare Board Fab drawings. If you would like Eagle to build your ITAR bare board and have any questions let us know.
24
With Eagle Tech there are “No” NRE’s or Tooling charges.
25
Our standard process is to electrically test all inner layer and the final/completed bare board.
